Products that are marked "On Order" in the "Available Quantity" column are usually not in stock. Such products are available for purchase, however, due to their limited customer base, they usually have higher minimum quantities. DACPOL offers products that are not in stock for the following reasons: DACPOL currently has a large number of electronic components in stock and adds new products every day, however, tens of thousands of additional components and their various variants are available from our suppliers. Even though it is unreasonable to have all these products in stock due to the limited sales, we believe that it is in the best interest of our customers to make them available. Our goal is to inform customers about the maximum number of products available and enable them to make decisions based on specifications, prices, availability, required minimums and our technical advice. Please note that selecting the "In Stock" checkbox may limit the display to only products available for delivery straight from the shelf.

Ex cables, Ex heating cables, Ex conduits: the foundation of safe ATEX installations

In environments where there is a risk of explosion caused by the presence of gases, vapours or dusts (EX zones), every element of the electrical installation must comply with rigorous standards. Ordinary wiring and covers can become a source of ignition through sparking, overheating or insulation damage. Therefore, it is crucial to use specialized components: Ex cables, Ex heating cables, and Ex conduits. These certified products are designed and tested to ensure the highest level of safety, protecting against the initiation of explosion.

Ex cables: reliability and resistance

Specialized Ex cables form the basis of wiring in potentially explosive atmospheres. They differ from standard cables due to increased resistance to external factors – both mechanical (impacts, abrasion) and chemical (corrosion, aggressive substances). Their insulation and outer sheath are made of low-smoke and halogen-free materials, which is important in the event of a fire. Most importantly, they are certified in accordance with the ATEX directive, which guarantees that they will not become a source of ignition even in the most difficult working conditions.

Ex heating cables: temperature control in EX zones

Maintaining a stable temperature in pipelines, tanks, and apparatus is often critical to the technological process, but it also poses a potential risk of overheating. Ex heating cables solve this problem. These are heating systems that are explosion-proof in themselves. They prevent the formation of points with excessively high temperature that could ignite the surrounding atmosphere. They are used for freeze protection, maintaining substance viscosity, and in other applications requiring precise thermal control in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Ex conduits: mechanical protection of wiring

Flexibility and durability are the main features of Ex conduits (explosion-proof corrugated tubes). They are used for the mechanical protection of Ex cables, especially in places exposed to damage or requiring frequent bending (e.g., movable connections). Like other Ex components, these conduits are made of materials with special properties – often self-extinguishing and with UV protection, and their design minimizes the risk of accumulating electrostatic charges that could cause sparking. They constitute an integral part of any safe wiring system in the chemical and petrochemical industries.
