8.2 EMICLARE MICROMESH FILM

Description:
EmiClare MicroMesh is the latest product to utilize a screen mesh printed on the filter surface. EmiClare MicroMesh offers very high light transmission and excellent screen properties, which were not fully achievable in ITO filters. It is also suitable for displays of various sizes and resolutions. This technology prints thin conductive lines directly on the filter surface, combined with the ability to customize EmiClare MicroMesh to suit the requirements of each display, making it the best solution on the market.

Product Specifications
The 300 μm (85 opi) line size is ideal for use in electronic displays. The improved EmiClare MicroMesh offers shielding benefits by reducing the Moiré effect and using very thin lines without restricting light flow, resulting in very high light transmission.

A display with EmiClare MicroMesh will be brighter and more readable in all possible conditions. To address the increasing light transmission, a matte black edge finish has been used, which reduces stray light and increases visibility in intense sunlight.



Structure:
As a result of the precise process of printing a conductive mesh on the surface of the material to obtain the MicroMesh foil, we obtain a product with a large surface area. To achieve a completely transparent filter, the material is double-laminated.

EMICLARE II - SIGMA (PC)

Description:
EmiClare SIGMA is an EMI shielding glass technology designed for optimal optical performance while maintaining high EMI shielding effectiveness.
Sigma (PC) - is the standard fully laminated EmiClare polycarbonate window, offering a cost-effective solution with a short delivery time. The front surface is AG (anti-glare) or as a transparent hard coating, while the back is a hardened surface. It is available in sheets or as finished windows with a silver bus bar.
Solo (glass) – this is an older technology using woven mesh. All new glass designs are manufactured using Micromesh technology.

SIGMA substrate properties:
  • Optical-grade polycarbonate.
  • High impact resistance.
  • UL94 HB flammability rating.
  • High glare-free transparency or clear hard coating, glossy front surface finish.
  • Glossy hard coating.
  • Chemical resistance according to DIN 42 115.
  • 3H pencil scratch resistance.

FINISH/CONNECTED/BUS BAR
EmiClare Sigma windows are CNC machined to the intended size with a stepped or square edge profile. Silver sputtering on windows can be used to create an “L” or “C” shaped finish, which reduces shielding by 5-10 dB compared to direct contact with the mesh.
Sheet size:
500 x 660 mm (nominal usable area).
Standard thickness:
1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, and 4.0 mm (+/- 0.2 mm)

Actual light transmission of a fully laminated window at wavelengths of 500-550 nm is:
  • 65-68% anti-glare finish on the face
  • 66-70% transparent finish on both sides
