SB08 - Toroidal cross-link transformer

The SB08 pass-through current transformer can be used in measurement, protection, and energy metering applications. The product has a bore diameter matched to cables used in enclosed high-voltage switchgear and power transformers. The transformer design allows use in oil insulation environments (up to 105°C), air, nitrogen, and SF6. On request, the product can be equipped with a compensating winding, which protects the measurement from the influence of strong external magnetic fields originating, for example, from large currents flowing in adjacent phases.
