TES-32A - battery capacity tester

TES-32A is designed to measure the internal resistance and voltage at the open-circuit terminals of nickel-metal hydride (NiMH), nickel-cadmium (NiCd), lithium-ion (Li-ion), alkaline, and lead-acid batteries.
The AC internal resistance measurement is performed using the four-wire method and includes a compensation function (zeroing the readings) for the test lead resistance to eliminate the influence of the test lead resistance on the measurement result.
The dual LCD display allows for simultaneous measurement and reading of internal resistance and voltage.
Measurement results can be compared with the minimum and maximum allowable limits of internal resistance and constant reference voltage programmed in the comparator, allowing for a quick assessment of the condition of the tested battery (good, relatively good, poor).
The tester can save 500 sets of data in memory during manual recording and up to 9,600 sets of data using continuous recording (logging). This data can be transferred to a PC.

Device Features
  • Internal resistance measurement 40mΩ ~ 40Ω (max resolution 10µΩ)
  • DC voltage measurement 4V~40V with max resolution 1mV
  • Internal resistance measurements using the 4-wire method
  • Zero resetting (zero compensation)
  • HOLD function
  • COMPARATOR: memory for 99 sets of LO and HI settings for internal resistance and HI for DC voltage, displayed using Colored LEDs for battery status: green LED - PASS (good), yellow LED - WARNING (relatively good), red LED - BAD (bad)
  • Audible signal for warnings and WARNING or BAD results
  • Manual recording of 500 data sets
  • Continuous recording (logging) of 9600 data sets
  • Optical RS 232 interface for PC connection
  • Selectable intervals from 1s to 255s for continuous recording
  • "OL" - overflow indication
  • "—" - measurement error indication
  • Automatic power-off
