Our assortment offers numerous products in the category of EX automation.
Limit switches for explosion hazardous areas (zone 1/21)
The GXE series switches are designed for use in explosion hazardous areas. The enclosure of this sensor is tightly sealed and has an IP66/67 protection rating. The GXE series holds an ATEX certificate.

Temperature sensors (zone 2)
A simple resistance sensor with a fitting is designed to measure temperature in devices, pipelines, and tanks, both for gases and liquids, in the temperature range from -200°C to +600°C. The protective tube is made of steel 1.4571, 1.7335, and Hastelloy C22, allowing the thermometer to be used for measuring aggressive media. Available versions include without a fitting, with a fitting and spacer tube, or with a mounting flange.
Humidity and temperature sensor (zone 0/21)
With "EX" approval for areas hazardous due to gas explosion and areas with combustible dust, for use in atmospheric conditions.
Humidity/temperature sensors of the MELA type series are sensors used to measure relative humidity or temperature, or both relative humidity and temperature in air and other non-aggressive gases in explosion hazardous areas, as well as in areas with combustible dust. The sensors consist of a durable die-cast aluminum housing (the transducer part) and an attached sensor part with a sintered filter – both made of stainless steel. Connection to non-intrinsically safe current circuits is done for humidity sensors (F*C3.EX/8) and for temperature sensors (T*C3.EX/8) via a single-channel transmitter power supply, and in the case of combined humidity/temperature sensors (K*C3.EX/8) via one dual-channel or two single-channel transmitter power supplies with galvanic isolation between input/output circuits and the power supply voltage.
Using capacitive elements in MELA humidity sensors guarantees:
• high stability over a long period of use
• almost linear characteristic curve
• good dynamic properties
• resistance to contamination.
