CMC series - Measurement of bearing currents

CMC Series consists of flexible, expandable measuring probes dedicated to high-frequency current measurements from capacitive couplings, which in large AC drive systems flow to ground through the shaft and bearings. CMC can also be used in other applications where small amplitude, high-frequency currents need to be measured.

Accuracy Depends on conductor position inside the coil, typically ±3% of reading (for 5cm2 conductor)
Linearity up to current amplitude ±0.05% of reading
Calibration Calibrated to ±0.5% of reading with conductor centrally located in the loop
DC Offset Maximum ±3mV for T=25°C
Temperature Coil and cable: -20…90°C, integrator: 0…40°C
di/dt values Below are maximum di/dt values, exceeding them risks damage:
