Products that are marked "On Order" in the "Available Quantity" column are usually not in stock. Such products are available for purchase, however, due to their limited customer base, they usually have higher minimum quantities. DACPOL offers products that are not in stock for the following reasons: DACPOL currently has a large number of electronic components in stock and adds new products every day, however, tens of thousands of additional components and their various variants are available from our suppliers. Even though it is unreasonable to have all these products in stock due to the limited sales, we believe that it is in the best interest of our customers to make them available. Our goal is to inform customers about the maximum number of products available and enable them to make decisions based on specifications, prices, availability, required minimums and our technical advice. Please note that selecting the "In Stock" checkbox may limit the display to only products available for delivery straight from the shelf.

Protection methods – Enclosures intended for explosion hazard zone EX

Each product intended for the EX zone can be protected according to special requirements. Special markings are used for enclosures. For example, the symbol Ex “o” means protection by immersing the device in oil, Ex “p” – by introducing an inert gas into the enclosure, Ex “q” – by using quartz sand.

A product marked with the symbol Ex “d” is a flameproof enclosure. This type of enclosure is designed to contain internal sparking. These enclosures are made to withstand pressures of several tens of atmospheres.

Another type is reinforced enclosures, offering enhanced protection. These are marked with the symbol Ex “e”. Enclosures with this marking are used to protect terminal strips, electrical connections, lamp sockets, etc.

The symbol Ex “i” is intended for intrinsically safe devices that do not cause sparking during normal operation. As a result, the risk of explosion is reduced to a low level. These are so-called intrinsically safe enclosures.

The symbol Ex “m” applies to enclosures protected by encapsulation in resin. This protection type is very effective, but resins have poor heat dissipation and the devices cannot be repaired if damaged.
